Standard foaming cleansers rely on sodium lauryl ether sulfate or coco-betaine to produce high volume foam. In doing so, they strip intercellular ceramides and raise skin pH from healthy 5.0 to alkaline 7.5 for up to four hours. Our Squalane Safflower Cleansing Oil utilizes high-linoleic carthamus tinctorius oil and pure olive squalane coupled with polyglyceryl-4 oleate. It dissolves oxidized sebum and physical sunblock without disrupting the acid mantle.
